The Board of Directors has agreed to potentially recognize a volunteer(s) who have distinguished themselves in service to the club over the past year. Any member or friend of the club may make a recommendation of a member, coach, assistant coach, administrator, volunteer or friend deserving of such special recognition. The Board will accept nominations through October 31, 2008.
Purpose: To recognize a member, coach, assistant coach, administrator, volunteer or friend whose contribution deserves special recognition.
Process: Proposed Recipients
Any member or friend of the club may recommend a person for a Special Recognition Award by submission to the Board of Directors of a written request together with a brief description of the proposed recipient’s contribution.
Granting of Award:
Grant of a Special Recognition Award will be made subject to a favorable decision by the Board of Directors.
Award Certificate/Gift:
An appropriate Award Certificate or gift (non-monetary) will be given to each recipient.
Other:
Special Recognition Awards will be awarded at the end of a playing season.
There is no requirement that an award be given each annual year.
Recipient’s contributions are required to have been made while recipients were acting as a volunteer.
