Dedication Recognizes OUSC for 49 Years of Community Service

At a ceremony on Saturday, June 4th, the soccer field at Oceanside Park was dedicated to OUSC commemorating the club for it's 49 years of service to the Oceanside community, and specifically recognizing the contributions of club founders, Joe Goldberg, Bessie & Phil Lamonica and Ian McDougall.

In addition to club directors, members, coaches and alumni, in attendance was Town of Hempstead official Anthony Santino who participated in a brief ceremony. Senior Councilman Santino then presented the club with an official citation on behalf of the Town of Hempstead and along with Ian and Bessie helped unveil the plaque which now welcomes all to Founder's
