News & Announcements for Coaches

 

All Travel coaches and assistant coaches must pass the ENYYSA Risk Management program before the league will issue their passes. Each coach should print the request for payment (on the Forms & Downloads page) and the approval to coach from risk management and turn it at registration and the club will reimburse your payment. Register for the Risk Management program by clicking here.

Any current U12+ travel team (U13 and up as of Fall '09) that is looking to hold a tryout, must first contact travel directors before posting or arranging tryouts

Please remind your players to pick up all the water bottles they may have brought to the game and to toss them in the trash can. It sounds simple but at the end of a game day we can have dozens of bottles littered all over the fields.

Congratulations to Brian Trager who was named OUSC's 2008 Volunteer of the Year. Brian will be recognized by the Long Island Junior Soccer League at their annual dinner on Friday, March 13th.

If you'd like to find out more about how OUSC operates, have the opportunity to express your opinions on Club decisions, or take on a leadership role in the any of our various programs, you should apply to become a Club Member.

Individuals who are currently active in any of the club’s programs or functions and are in good standing are eligible to become a member. To request membership, please send a letter highlighting what your current role is within the program and why you would like to become a member to the address below along with a check made payable to OUSC for the one time fee of $15.00.
